The two-second rule generally offers a minimal distance that allows you to react to events and take action if anything unexpected occurs. Three or more seconds can be even better, and certain places demand a three-second distance at the very least. There are numerous training programs available for various vehicle kinds, such as LGV Cat C Training for Cat C vehicles and HGV C+E Training for vehicles that require a C+E licence before you can legally drive them. This is mostly for the sake of safety.
